Wrfaabb With Roots From Above And Branches Below Review By uashes on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
WRFAABB was a great CD in general but it was nothing like their original work. Whether it was a change for the better or a change for the worse is your opinion. The Devil Wears Prada has become increasingly popular this past year and with popularity comes selling out. Although TDWP has not sold out they did change their genre of music from a more death metal sound, to a softer metal sound, to a metalcore sound over the course of a couple years. This CD is heavier than Plagues but i don't think it is quite as good as Dear Love; A Beautiful Discord. One MAJOR change you will notice in the CD is that Mike Hranica changed the style and sound of his vocals. His renouned high scream sounds different than it did in the previous CD's. I personally like it alot but i also like his old sound alot too.
Conclusion: I REALLY enjoyed this CD and i think you would too if you were to take a listen.
I would strongly suggest getting the CD. Take a look for yourself. ;)
