Writer's Digest Magazine By Summer Banks on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

As a freelance writer, I am always on the look out for a supportive magazine. Writer's Digest is just that. The magazine is filled with tips and tricks for writer's of all genres. From freelance to fiction, you will find useful information on every page.

A great perk of the Writer's Digest subscription is the lack of ads. "LACK" meaning the ads are graciously placed throughout the pages, but never over powering or in the way. All of the relevant information is presented in an easy and readable format.

The classifieds, which many writers key in on, are slim in this magazine. You will not find your next big gig through a subscription to Writer's Digest but you may just learn HOW to land that gig!
