I am not a fan of comic books. Or cartoons based on comic books. So I surprised myself when I actually liked this movie. I actually saw X2: X-Men United first, some friends drug me out one night to the movies and we all liked it. So I happily agreed to see how it all began. I love the cast of these movies, I think Hugh Jackman as Wolverine is perfect. Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier, who else could have filled that role? I like seeing the school where all the "mutant" childern go to school and learning about all their special powers. Magneto is an interesting character, and it is alway intriguing to learn why people turn the wrong way. Of course, they do't give all that information away, I'm sure that they were planning on building a movie franchise, and they got to keep you coming back for more! This movie struck a cord with me, and got me thinking about how much our society judges others, I think thats why I liked it so much. I know its a movie about super heroes. But I think its about a little more than that, too. What do you think?
