The system includes:
Console
120 GB Hard Drive
Black wireless controller
Black headset
One month Free Live Gold Subscription
HDMI output
HD Cable
The Xbox 360 Elite is the high-end model of the 360 linup (cheapest being 360 arcade). The first obvious difference in the Elite wersus the standard 360 console is the stock body colour: Black.
The black shell influences subtlety in the system. Mine is sitting next to the cable box on the tv stand, and most visitors don`t notice it`s there. Which can be nice.
Colour aside, what sets the Elite apart from the standard console (while adding about $100 to the price tag) is the 120GB hard drive.
Xbox 360 has a wide variety of games, from family oriented to gorefest, enough to suit any gamer, of any experience level.
Peripherals include wireless headsets, wireless networking adapter, webcam, messenger kit, wireless gaming wheel (steering wheel for driving games), wireless controller, and the now defunct external HD DVD player
The system supports 1080p High Definition output, which is currently the highest resolution television on the market.
They seem to have fixed the ventilation problems which plagued the original Xbox 360 consoles, and in a year of heavy gaming, I have yet to encounter any errors (red ring of death). Then again, I keep the console on its side like a DVD player, not standing up.
Overall, an excellent console to consider.
