Xbox 360, The Best Console Currently Available. By YodaGoneMad on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The Xbox 360 was released in November of 2005, it met with great success, and had a full year on the market before either of the other 2 consoles arrived on the scene. Sporting internal components arguably better than even the often hyped PS3, and with a lowest price a mere $30 higher than the Wii, the 360 is the best console this generation. Part of the 360's advantage has to do with it's earlier release, because it has been out a year longer it is a year farther along. It has an extra years worth of games, upgrades, and users. This means the 360 has more than twice as many quality titles as it's competitors. It also has the best online service available with Xbox Live, where more than 10 million gamers get together to play online. Even with it's killer game line-up and unbeatable online service the 360 isn't perfect, since launch it has been plagued with hardware issues. Now while these issues are quite real, they are extremely overstated, on some sites you will see claims of a 33% failure rate bounced around, in reality the failure rate is closer to 5% or lower. In addition, Microsoft has stepped up to provide service for those consoles that do fail, and supports the 360 with a 3 year warranty that is extend able to 6 for $50. In the end, dollar for dollar, the 360 is the way to go this generation, it has more games, more options, the best online, and the best price.
