Xerox Plain Paper F110 Fax Machine

Not many people know that Xerox makes not only copiers but also fax machines, among many other things. I used to work for Xerox, and all the office equipment we had was our own, Xerox brand. I must say I was very impressed with it.

This FaxCentre was the first fax machine I had ever encountered that used regular paper and not those endless rolls of special fax paper. I thought it was great! After years of experience with fax paper that wants to roll up on you and fades with time, having neat printed pages come out of the fax machine felt wonderful. I also liked how smart this fax machine was: it adjusted incoming faxes to nicely fit on the page.

Xerox F110 is not just a fax machine; it bears the proud name of FaxCentre for a reason. It can also work as a printer, copier, and scanner - very convenient. As a copier, the machine has a reduce/enlarge feature and the ability to make multiple copies, up to 99, after having scanned a document once. As a printer, Xerox FaxCentre takes several different sizes of paper and envelopes.

This fax machine is compact, fast, easy to use and reliable. The repairman was a rare visitor in our department, and I don't recall him ever having to work on this unit. Printouts, copies, and faxes were always clear and clean, no smudges. I think it would be great for home use, but it has proved its ability to work in an office as well.
