Xm Radio Worth The Price? By Debbie831 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
I recently purchased a Pontiac G6 and I received 3 months of XM radio free. I had heard of it and to be honest was never really interested in it. I thought it wasn't worth the price. I now had the opportunity to try it and I took full advantage of it. I was surprised at how much I did enjoy it. I could choose what kind of music I wanted to listen to 60's, 70's etc. Even though I did enjoy here are the things I didn't like. I thought there were too many radio stations to choose from, you know the saying too many options can be a bad thing. I think in 3 months I only got through half the channels. Even though they say it is commercial free it is not. Granted there are less commercials than regular radio but they still have commercials. All in all I did enjoy but still don't think I would pay every month for it. I just don't think its worth it. I will stick with my radio and my ipod!
XM Radio Pontiac

Thumbs up to you for buying an American-made Pontiac G6!
I see the commercials all of the time about hearing all of the baseball games on XM. If I traveled a lot, this would be a must have for that reason alone.
What are the monthly subscription fees for this service? Is there a difference between home and road pricing? These are important things to look at when deciding whether XM radio is worthwhile.
still trying to figure out if we want to go with satellite radio, thanks for your input.
