I first bumped into Yael Naim when she was living in Israel, trying to succeed in a career of music, unsuccessfully unfortunately for her, and decided she was moving to Paris to try her luck over there.

The album was released in October, 2007 by BMG and Arista, and since then it's been driving it's way up the charts.

I was moved to secondly see Yael's name and voice on Apple's new Macbook Air notebook that was currently just released, and Yael's song "New Soul" (track #3) is playing in the backround.

Yael plays alternitive rock, in a sort of fun way, that makes you want to listen to the same track again and again, mood lifting and heart warming, even her special cover for Britney's "Toxic", has a little melancolie touch for it, and still, you want to play it repeatedly again, and again.

The album is pretty multi-language, Yael sings in Hebrew, French and English as well, which talks to many different crowds.

To sum up, Yael Naim is a wonderful singer, which hit it big time in france after deciding to follow her dream, and she did, Go Yael!
