Yahtzee

Yahtzee is a simple and fun dice game where players try to maximize their points on their score sheet. Everyone has the same score sheet where each roll of the dice players determine where to place their score. They have the option to reroll part or all of their dice in order to maximize their point values. For example, some objectives include making a run of five or three of a kind. Players try to make a run of five or make the highest three of a kind (three of a kinds are scored by adding the total of all the dice points, so you'll want to reroll for high numbers) by rerolling. There is some strategy involved in picking what you are going to shoot for and ultimately where you are going to score your points at. Sometimes you just have to zero out a number because you have nothing (usually later in the game). It's a fun game for small get togethers because it's simple and you don't have to pay too much attention, yet it's still lots of fun.
