Of all the Yanni CDs I own, and I think I own about all Yanni has made, this is my favorite.It contains some of the prettiest melodies Yanni has ever composed.There are 11 tracks:In the Morning Light, One Man's Dream, Before I Go, Enchantment, The End of August, To Take...To Hold, In the Mirror, Felitsa, Whispers in the Dark, Only a Memory and Until the Last Moment.Yanni has composed and produced every piece on this CD.
Yanni's music, for me, is pure enchantment.I find his melodies inpiring, poignant, and truly beautiful.My husband is now a fan, too, and he never even heard of Yanni until he married me.
If you are a fan of Yanni, or would just like to give a listen to some really beautiful music, this compilation of 11 tracks would definitely do the trick.It is all instrumental and all lovely to hear.The melodies touch a nerve in me whenever I play this CD, and I especially like to listen to the music with stereo headphones on (that is, if I'm the only one listening at the time).Otherwise, I like to play the CD on my surround sound system and let the music fill the room.
I highly recommend this CD.
