Yeeeeeeee Haaaaaaw!

Who doesn't remember the familiar "Yeeeee Haaaaw" of the Dukes boys as they fly through the air in the General Lee?What child, or father for that matter, doesn't want to have their very own General Lee car?I bought this toy for my 4 year old son in December and it was by far his favorite birthday gift.
The car is 1:18 scale, and almost 12 inches in length.It is made of lightweight plastic and rollls very easily, even on carpet.There are three buttons by the back window that make the sound of the engine reving up, the General Lee horn, and the famous Yee Haw.The lights also flash in the front and back when one of the buttons has been pushed.We have aLOT of toy cars in this house but this is the one that is always getting played with.
I bought it at WalMart for 15.00 but this past week have seen it at three different stores for 5.00!What a bargain!Everyone should own one at this price.I had to buy one for my husband to keep in the box as a collecors piece.The pictures on this box are of the original show cast members and not actors from the new movie as some of the new toys have on them.You never know when they are going to stop making the Dueks of Hazzard toys--hurry before they are gone!
My older brother made me watch this show all the time! My husband was a fan as well. Guess I'll have to remember this for my little boy on the way!
Probably a real collectible as well as a toy!

Great price! This sounds like such a fun car. I never really watched the show but I'm sure that kids love this toy!
I could be wrong, but I think that John Schneider sells this or a similar car on Ebay that he autographs before shipping. I cannot recall his Ebay user ID but it probably would not be too difficult to find out.
This brings back lots of memories of the Dukes of Hazzard! I will have to look for this at WalMart-especially if it costs about $5.00!!

Great show. I remember clamming Bo Duke. I was like, "He's mine!" "You can have Luke." Its funny, cause in the third grade I want to be a flag lady(one of those people who stopped the cars during construction). Daisy did that on a few the the episodes. High hopes huh,lol.
