There is nothing more collectible to me than all items Beatles. It is my biggest interest, and I am an avid collector of their memorabilia, both old and new. I would like to tell you about one of my favorite pieces and something you can still find out there. In the late 1990's, the company that oversees all things Beatles, Apple Corp. released a large amount of products with the fab four in, on or around it. You name it, they have it. Everything from underwear to salt and pepper shakers (yes I have both). But my favorite in the collection is the Yellow Submarine Lava Lamp.

First off, Yellow Submarine was never my favorite of the albums or movies. But now that I have children, I have come to realize the strength and lure of it for little ones, you can't help but hum and sing the tune, everyone knows it!

The lava lamp stands about 2 feet tall, and is decorated on the outside by the blue meanies and other characters from the movie. The top is capped with a yellow submarine, and is definitely the coolest part of it. The lava is blue, the liquid is a lighter shade of blue. This is a fun piece to enjoy for all Beatles fans.

My only complaint? The yellow submarine is fragile, it chipped fairly easily when it fell onto the table from a low height. Otherwise, I cannot say anything bad about the appearance or quality. This is a fun piece of collector memorabilia that would be enjoyed by all!
