Yesterday's News Litter By Joni Lambert on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have a pet bunny who lives in our house. His name is Benny and he is litter box trained. You can't use clumping litters with rabbits, because they can be very dangerous if ingested. I really don't like the cedar type litters you usually see people use for bunnies and other small pets. I find them very messy and not effective in keeping the litterbox smell in check.

A friend recommended trying Yesterday's New litter. Yesterday's News is a litter that is made out of recycled newspaper. The bag says that it absorbs more than three times the moisture than clay litters. I have to agree with this statement. It's also very neat to use. The pellets are heavy, so when Benny jumps in and out of his litterbox the litter stays put and doesn't fly all over the place. There is no dust either. I really love this product for our bunny.
