I stayed at the YHA Hostel, Melbourne while I was there for 3 days over the holidays, and I am impressed! For a hostel, it is really cleand and it provides you with all sorts of things you might need like you have a kitchen area where you can cook. There's also microwave, fridges, and oven!

They also have computers for those who want to go online, a pool table and a lounge where you can just hang our and talk all night! They have a TV room too!

The top floor is one of the most comfortable place thoughout the whole hostel! You get an almost 360 degrees view of Melbourne city!! There's also a swing on top, and a BBQ stove.

Room wise, they're generally pretty clean and well maintained. The cupboard is a bit too small though and the lift is really slow too! Oh, and the bathrooms and toilets are clean too! They're really well maintained I must say! Price wise, they're reasonably cheap!
