Yokohama AS430 Tires
By JOEY onI purchased 4 of these Yokohama AS 430 tires from Town Fair Tire about 4 years ago. I have put on 30,000 miles since and it looks to me like the tread has worn quite evenly. I have rotated them as recommended a very important aspect of tire care. Without doing that tires wear very unevenly. Supposedly with proper care these tires are said to be able to last in the area of 70,000 miles. They have a great ride and my experience in the rain and snow has been positive. The traction is very good under those conditions. When I purchased these tires I found myself thinking that 104.00 per tire was pretty expensive. However as I look back over the last four years and evaluate the overall performance and then take a good hard look at the tread wear at this point I have to say they were worth the money. I had heard that Yokohama has a good reputation and I do say that I have not been disappointed. I would certainly buy tires from them again as well as recommend them to anyone who is interested in a high performance tire with a long lasting tread.

I have never heard of these, but glad to hear they have a good reputation and your happy with them. If they last the 70,000 miles, they will be a great bargain!
Not heard of this brand of tires, but it sounds like they were a good choice for you. I think we should not worry so much about how much it costs us in the beginning but how long they will last .
Hopefully, these tires will give you 40,000 plus miles. Thanks for the information.
I had a set of these tires on a Toyota that I bought. They lasted me more miles than any tire I had before or after.

I had Yokohama tires on my first new car (years ago). They lasted a long time and I never had any trouble with them. Quality product.

These are fantastic tires! I put 4 on my pontiac grand am two years and 35,000 miles ago and they still look new! Great wear and traction in all weather. Will buy these again if I can fine them...lol
I bought these tires for my 1998 Volvo C70 coupe. They are P225/45R 17's. I paid much more than $108 each because of the size. The ride in awesome. My old Goodyears had an agressive tread which made them ride and whine like a truck tire. These are VERY stable and quiet. I'm an agressive driver and my car handles like it's on rails with these tires. I can not say I've been this happy with a tire before. The best overall tires I have ever owned. Just my 2 cents worth.
