My daughter came to me and told me that she was interested in playing the flute in band at school. My husband and I decided to look into buying her a flute so that she could have the opportunity to have music as part of her life. We checked at the local music store and they wanted 800 dollars for a brand new one. Even the used ones were still an arm and a leg at 500 dollars. We did have the option to rent one for 20 dollars a month but then it would not be hers. So...I decided to look on Ebay and I found a brand new nickle plated band flute complete with case, gloves, cleaning rod, and cleaning cloth for $130 shipping paid. Of course we jumped on that with a quickness. Upon the arrival of the flute I opened the package and put it together. I think I was just as egar as my daughter was. I have played flute since I was in the 5th grade. I decided to give it a try and this flute makes just as beautiful music as and 500-800 dollar one. I am pleased with this brand and would buy it all over again.
