You Don't Mess With The Zohan By G Lee on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Well another Adam Sandler movie and it was not out of range of what I expected from him. Playing as Zohan, an Israeli counter terroist commando who has the dream of going to America to be hair stylist, he fakes his own death and pursues his dream. The movie in itself is not overly deep but provides what most Adam Sandler movie usually bring, good comedy. If you aren't a fan of Adam Sandlers' work, you may not enjoy this movie but if you are familiar with any of his previous movies, I'd recommend you take a gander into this one.
It seems comedians such as Adam Sandler and Mike Myers have expanded their comedy offerings by using different cultural backgrounds as the base of their movies; Myers with India and Sandler with Israel and the Palestines. With such a move, it may be seem to portray various stereotypes but that is something hard to avoid with such a foray.
All in all, it is a pretty good movie in a field of big hits in the summer of 2008.
