You Have To Eat Your Veggies. By Jami on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
G'day All, In my search for an alternitive treatment option for my sons Aspergers all the researchers recommended a dairy and wheat free diet. Basically a vegan diet. Well try to tell a 12 year old he can't have a pizza. This went over like a lead balloon, until I found this cookbook.I have always made healthy dinners and such, but cutting out wheat and dairy was a test. I was certainly at a loss when it came to shopping. When I found this cookbook it quickly became my bible. I now know what to buy and how to cook it and not only am I making this for Alex but my hubby and I eat the same. The receipes are simply amazing and soo delicious. It has suggestions for brekky, and quickie snacks for the lunch box along with the healthy dinner. This was most certainly one of the best purchases I have made. If you ever consider a Gluten and/or Dairy free diet, this is the "how to" book you need. Even if you do it for a bit just to detox I know you will feel amazing afterwards. Have a go. Cheers
The Eat Well Cookbook by Jan Purser & Kathy Snowball Dairy & Gluten Free Purchased at: Amazon.com Price: $16.47

An elderly neighbor requires a gluten free diet, I will have to surprise her with this for Christmas :) Thanks for the info
Although I don't have to be dairy free, I may check this cookbook out. Please note, however, that a gluten free diet is *not* a vegan diet. Even those who are gluten and casein (dairy) free can still eat meat/fish.
