Yummie Coconut Hay Hair By Mendoi on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

MY STORYI first tried this about 2 years ago, back when I still had virgin hair. I brought it on a trip to Kelowna for all my friends to use. It smelled yummie yummie, and made my hair feel okay. I permed my hair soon after, so I switched to "pro-like" shampoos. But sometimes when I dwaddle down shampoo aisles, I would sniff this bottle just cuz it smells so yummie.Fast forward to a month ago, in the LA heat, and some perms and over a handful of bleachings later. I bought it at Ralph's and planned on leaving it behind for my cousin to try afterwards, since it was so cheap and I was only staying for 5 days, compared to her 3ish weeks.Let me tell ya, this sure was different from my Kelowna experience.THE GOODIt's really cheap. Like, less than 3 bucks each.It smells delightful.THE BADIt strips all the moisture out of your hair, even my cousin's virgin hair.CONCLUSIONProbably won't repurchase in hot climates while my hair is already damaged.Note that it was summer in LA, and it was snowing in Kelowna. So maybe I'll buy it if I go to Kelowna again, and my hair has healed from all the chemical damages.
