Yuppie Puppy Harness
By quietgirll onDoes your puppy need a little more support than a collar and leash can provide? Mine did, so I decided I should get him a harness. He had just hurt his back, and couldn't really walk on his front feet at all. My neighbor suggested getting a harness so I could provide him with extra support and help hold him up as we walked.
I had never used a harness for a dog, but I assumed it would be pretty easy to find what I needed. Well, it was harder than I expected. My dog is a small dog, less than ten pounds. I wanted to find him something that would be comfortable, yet functional. Little did I know I would soon find myself on the pet supply aisle in Wal-Mart on the floor with harnesses spread out all around me!
Fortunately, after quite a bit of thought and study, I came across the Yuppie Puppy. It was different in that it was in a package, rather than hanging on a hook. Also, it was designed with small dogs in mind, and had a padded section where the harness goes on the dog's shoulders in case they tug.
Overall, I have been really pleased with the Yuppie Puppy, and Pepper likes it as well. I only wish it were easier to clean!

yeah you have to spray it with clorox spay anything spray and then let it dry, and then once a week you have to soak it in soapy water and then rinse and pat dry. I put mine in the dryer with my towels and it comes out Ok- I do handwash though. I wonder if gentle cycle on cold in a mesh bag would work?
