Zalman Zm Nc2000 Ultra Quiet Notebook Cooler By Donald Scott on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought this cooler from Provantage.com and the cooler was packaged in a attractive and light box. As I lifted the cooler out, I notice that it weighted no more than 1/4 of a pound. It is extremely light. Another thing I noticed was that is was that it was the perfect size for a 17" windscreen notebook and that the aluminum top was COLD to the touch. The cooler has a small compartment to hold the USB connector that powers the device. When I plugged it in, and turned on the easy to use controls, I was shocked at the quietness of the cooler. IT ACTUALLY MADE MY COMPUTER QUIETER. The manufacturer said it would do this, but who believes claims like that... I monitored my computer tempature with a laser thermometer and free program called fanspeed and I watched as my HP Entertainment PC tempature's droped like a rock. I was extreamly satisfied. I would recoment this coooler to everybody with a 17-20 inch computer because it is worth every penny of the 60 dollars it cost. The only negative was its rather bright blue LED on the side, but thats not much of a problem. Also, some people may think that the dual fan's may not be enough, but I essure you they have a lot of output air.
