This is a great item to have during power outtages. It has two individually adjustable headlight beams that can be swiveled and tilted. Each light can be individually turned on or off with their respective controls.

This is how it works. The light is set on a flat surface or hung on the wall and it's plugged in. Two small colored LED lights go on. This means both beam lights have power and will go on, if the power is cut to the electric outlet. The beam will not operate unless the AC power is off. The light stays plugged in constantly, as it powers the LEDs and keeps the battery inside charged up. Once the pwoer goes out or it's unplugged, the power switches to the internal battery and the beams turn on.

The beam lights are really bright. One is enough and conserves battery power so it will stay lit twice as long as two. It's perfect for hallways, walkways, near exits and even outside, if covered from the weather.

I bought these because when the power goes out, our rooms are pitch black and I need help fast with my breathing equipment. This is great automatic lighting.

One problem is that they're made of cheap plastic, which feels light it will break easily with light impact. The low price makes up for it. It does come with twe spare bulbs that can be easily replaced without tools.

There are no instructions included besides what little is written on the box.
