Zolo Magnetic Stacking Acrobats By Tina Lehman on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My daughter received a set of Magnetic Stacking Acrobats (made by Zolo)- also known as Stacrobats- for her second birthday. They were an immediate hit!

This set of stuffed acrobats also includes three balls (one of which has a bell inside) and a stage (which doubles as a carrying case). The acrobats have magnets in their hands, feet, heads and bellies. The bells are also magnetic as is the stage. I was impressed because these magnets are strong enough so that you can stick a large string of these together and they STAY together, but can be easily pulled apart by a toddler.

Because some of the magnets are 'opposite' each other, some of them push against each other rather than stick which makes it interesting to watch my daughter put them together. These little acrobats can be stacked in many different ways, as well as be played with separately. My 9 month old son also enjoys playing with them (but he might just like annoying his sister).

I had never seen toys made by this company, and thought it was a wonderful gift idea.
