The Zoom ADSL X6 5590CF is an all-in-one solution for sharing ADSL service.An auto configuration wizard in the X6 detects ADSL network settings and makes DSL modem setup easy for all ADSL services, including Verizon, AT&T, Bell South and Qwest.It is possible to setup Zoom/X6 Gateway with Windows Vista Ultimate with no problem.Overall, it is a solid step up from the Smartstream 5360 - if you're using SBC/AT&T DSL and having problems with that modem, this is a solution that works.It was exactly what I needed, works great and at a excellent price.
It is highly recommended for use with bandwidth-intensive applications like peer-to-peer multimedia sharing.Zoom's QoS feature allows users to prioritize outbound data from the various devices connected to the X6 through its four Ethernet ports or wireless-G capability.
