Zuma's Revenge has Driven Me Mad

Clearly this game has it out for me, but I love it! Often play it during down time, I found Zuma's Revenge to be quite addictive and not so easy to beat. For a about a month now, I've been playing this game while my cat, Shoji, looks on purr-fectly sitting still keeping a mental tally of my defeats. Why he mocks me, I dunno?I learned about Zuma from my mom, who had purchased the game first. After several victories, (in the beginning) Ilater then purchased the game for myself. If you played Luxor, then you know exactly what type of game I'm talking about. Anyway, Zuma's Revenge is much more interesting than Luxor. Zuma has more appealing levels, mini challenges, and just visually nice to look at. The main objective is to "ace" each level by shooting colored balls from the frog's mouth. You increase your score by shooting at large groupings of the same color. Some balls have special powers, which allow you to slow down, stop, reverse, aim guided shoot, multi-ball (this gets rids of a large portion of balls-much needed if you're approaching the skull), or a zapper. More advanced or expert players can "ace" each level and earn points shooting at fruits that periodically show up on each level. Once an entire level is defeated, you're challenged by some Lion Tikki god who wants to devour you at the end of each journey. You travel to various islands, defeating gods and unlocking secret mini games. Currently, I'm stuck on level 34. My hand and I co-ordination seems to have improve because you have to be quick on teh draw, as the balls come as you fast. Its really comical, especially when you witnessfriends and famliy members getting peed off on game some might consider childish. But. don't be fooled. It pulls you in and before you know, the time seems to whiz by. Not ashamed to say, I've startled Shoji, multiple times -slamming my fist hard on the desk, because I only have 2 lives to spare....arrrrgggh! On the brink of insanity, I cut my loses, regain composure, and live to fight another day. This game is great for passing time, boredom, and free entainment for the neighbors. I highly reconmmend getting a copy and playing it for yourself or the kids. Happy shooting!
