Zyrtec - 10 mg, 24 chewable tabs review
By donnabc onMy 8 year old has severe, life threatening food allergies as well as general allergies. He has been on Zyrtec for it seems like ever (at least 5 years). It is ONE of the answers to our prayers. We tried other medications but nothing seemed to help him like Zytec. As long as he takes the med each day, he doesn't have those dark "allergy" circles under his eyes and his asthma stays mostly under control.I can't say enough about what this medication has meant to us.However, there are some pit falls to every good thing. And with this one, it is the cost!I can get the pills to swallow (for me) for about $3.00 a month now that they are over the counter....but as you can see HIS cost $15!Mostly because I can't find the generic in the chewable form! Also, rather than coming in a bottle, the chewable kind comes in bubble packages so you have to peel off the back and punch each one out. This is sort of a pain but then again nice when I have to shove on into my purse if we aren't getting home until late.Give it a try if YOUR kids have allergies...you won't be disappointed:0)

Ihave used zertec by perscription for a few years and it works great for me. Now that it is over the counter it will cost me a lot more but I would like to stay healthy so I guess I will have to buy it.
Awesome! My son used to take this, he is now on claritin.
I have never tried this, my doctor always seems to give me Allergra.
