Zyrtec Kids
Zyrtec is a prescription allergy medication used with kids, as well as, adults. Allergies ranging from skin allergies to environmental allergies can be treated with Zyrtec. After several years on another allergy medication, our daughter tried Zyrtec, we were not impressed and soon switched back to our old medication.
Skin allergies can cause itching, inflammation and sore, red skin. Oral medicationscan be used to treat the histamine reactions with the skin. Zyrtec is supposed to help ease the symptoms.It does no such thing.
We exprienced zero side effects from using the Zyrtec with our three year old daughter. But, her symptoms did not lessen either. It is my conclusion that Zyrtec is not a great coice for the treatment of skin allergies.

My son used Zyrtec for his seasonal allergies and it did work. We took him off of it a few weeks later though because he was acting mean, irritated, and just not himself. We found something just as effective, but without the side effect.
Greatest medication ever. I live in Houston and it saved me frommy allergies.
