When my husband was going to college for an art degree a few years ago, he used Strathmore Sketch Pads for much of his drawing. I'm not really an artist, but I like to draw for the fun of it, so I purchased a few of these pads for myself, just to sketch and try my hand at drawing different things. The particular sketch pad I really like is 14" x 17" and contains 100 sheets. The paper is acid free, medium weight, and lightly textured. I find it strong and durable. It is the 400 series.
I really enjoy sketching for fun and relaxation, my husband is the one with true talent. If you are interested in drawing or are like me and just want to sketch for the fun of it, I think you would find Strathmore Sketch Pads just what you would want. I believe they come in different sizes, but the 14" x 17" size has always been the most accomodating for me (and my husband as well).

Strathmore is great! i like my pads a little smaller, but i am a doodler!
