It was one of my aunt's 70th birthday party when I got a taste of this luscious and one of a kind cake. After the blowing of the candle, the restaurant staff served the cake and I got a slice of it. Yummyyyy!!! I really love the taste so with all eagerness I asked my cousin where she bought it.

If my calculation is right, it is as if I am buying 2 cakes for a price of one. But the popularity of this cake lies on the delicious stuff it has. It is chilled layer of sponge cake, cashew, cream, mango chunks, chocolate mousse, meringue-like-textured filling, covered with white mango cream with mango chunks on top of the cake and chocolate drippings all over.
Conti's Pastry Shop & Restaurant has a small and large size of it. I usually order the big one which costs me around Php950. Actually, considering the size and the sumptuous ingredients of the cake I think I just had a best buy. It is not like other ordinary cake with full of chiffon layer flavored with either vanilla or chocolate. At Conti's, if you order for a mango cake you get the taste from top to bottom, outside to inside. This cake is just really so delicious and superb.
