Shopping / Cellular Phone Plans / Qwest Cell Service

Before moving to Oregon, our other cellular providers were very back. We hated them. With a passion. Let's just say that whenever the bill came along, I would cringe because I hated giving them my money. Well, we finally moved to Oregon and while looking around at other plans, we found out that Qwest not only had a phone plan, but they also had a cellular plan too. Boy, did that make our day. We signed up with them right away. We have had their service for about 8 months and we love it. We have never had any dropped the calls and the reception is great. The only downfall I can see is that if you want to talk to someone in the elevator, then you can expect your call to get dropped, other than that their Customer Service is fairly good. Of course you have those reps that are having a bad day but we also have had a few that are really nice and have gone above and beyond. Up until about 1 month ago their towers would be split between Sprint Towers and Verizon so I didn't matter which tower we used, the service was still the same.The phone plan is pretty nice too. With our service we get 1400 minutes between the two of us, unlimited text messaging, unlimited mobile to mobile, unlimited internet, and unlimited long distance. Our free minutes start at 7:00pm but that doesn't make a difference to us because we usually call mobile to mobile. When we signed up for Qwest Cell Service, we both were able to pick out our own free phones. They weren't those cheap phones that cost 9.99 now they were the type of phones that would range from 199.99 to 250.00. Lets just say we both were very happy with Qwest service.
