Jacquot Truffles are real French truffle chocolate candy, soft, delicious, melting in your mouth and fingers as well, so do not hold it too long. It is very nicely packaged in a small golden box, and the truffles inside are protected by a special puffed pouch. However, as I have once discovered, the pouch isn't enough to protect this chocolate from those who do not know how to properly handle it. Truffles easily melt, and the manufacturer warns about it. My local Walmart ignored that fact, which resulted into the truffles melting together into one solid mass. Thankfully, I had bought that box for myself, not as a gift for someone else; it would have been so embarrassing. I now only buy this truffles from stores that have them in the cool section. Even then, I shake the box first to make sure there are separate truffles inside, not a melted blob.
