I had a whole shopping list for when I went to the store last. On there was Halloween candy. I wanted to pick out a bunch of yummy stuff for myself this year. We don't get any kids that trick-or-treat on my street, so there was no need to buy a huge mixed bag of candy. I did that one year and was sorely disappointed when there was no knocking on my door by little ones in cute costumes.

One of the candies I wanted to buy was Hugs. I have no clue what made me want them, but one night on Twitter I told some friends that I wanted the white Hershey's Kisses for Halloween. Some friends said that sounded good, but one of them said that the Hugs were especially good. I'm pretty sure that they were what I was thinking of. I'm not sure if there even are purely white kisses.

These are so cute to look at. I think they are more adorable than the regular Kisses. They are white with brown swirls on the outside. They also have a white bottom. This outer portion covers a milk chocolate Kiss. In other words, like the packaging says these are, "Kisses hugged by white creme." Yum!

I love these. I like them so much better than Kisses. They taste more special. You can really taste the white chocolate (creme). Like I said earlier, these were supposed to be for Halloween, but when I was driving home from the store, I was ravenous. I ate a couple then just to feel a bit less light-headed. A few days later now, the 12 oz. bag is 1/3 empty. I know that there won't be any left for the intended holiday, but I bought a lot of other candy for myself.
