Enesco Collectibles is very famous for their line of Precious Moments created by Sam Butcher. Recently Enesco, Precious Moments, and Disney have all teamed up to create a Disney Precious Moments line. I have collected Precious Moments since I was about twelve years old, and I have loved Disney pretty much my whole life so when I found out they were going to be coming out with Disney themed ones I definitely got excited!
The first one in the series that I have purchased is "Follow Your Heart," featuring a little girl dressed as Belle reading a book along with her friends Mrs. Potts and Chip. Beauty and the Beast is probably my ultimate favorite Disney movie so it was natural that this was going to be my first piece collected in the series.
They have ones tailored after pretty much all of the Princess' including Cinderalla, Snow White, Jasmine, and Ariel. The latest ones they have come out with are all Christmas themed which feature Mickey, Donald, Minnie, and Pluto. Those are adorable as well.
All of the figurines are made out of quality Bisque porcelain and usually range from 4" to 5" tall. They also retail in price anywhere from $30.00 to $70.00 depending on size.
I hope to obtain a couple more pieces of this collection in the near future, including a few of the Christmas ones and hopefully Jasmine and Ariel. These Precious Moments are great for the Precious Moments collector but also can act as a unique gift for a young child or an avid Disney lover as well. The Precious Moments Disney line is a great collectible and I hope they are going to create many more great pieces in the future.
