This review is for the Sport Pet kitty pirate ship. Being that my husband and I are huge pirates of the caribbean fans we had always wanted to buy this product. My cat is 11 years old and I thought this may be alittle too small for her. One day out of the heavens(more like tossed from someone's car) we came across "danger" who has become part of our family now. To introduce danger to our home, we bought her this pirate ship. We weren't sure what to expect, but this has truly been an excellent choice. This product measures 29.75"x24.5"x12.5". The frame of this is constructed with durable yet semi flexble plastic piping. The cloth of the ship slips easily over the piping, and the clips that hold the pieces together are very easy to assemble. The boat has braces that clip on so that your little pirate won't turn the whole ship over and get hurt. Now for the little swashbuckler, the bottom of the boat has a hole in which to enter the ship, large enough to move in and out, yet also gives enough hiding room. The floor of the bottom has a soft crunchy feel for your kitten to scratch at and play. The top of the ship is very durable, almost like a canopy where your cat can watch for other pirates coming to steal their bounty. Hanging off the kitty pirate flag is a section of material with a jingle ball to play with. This was a great value for the price and I am glad we got the opportunity to purchase it. She plays with it for hours and then relaxes, hiding in the bottom compartment. The only thing I have bad to say is that it is definately not for a bigger cat, the weight of a more hefty cat at the right angle would topple the ship over and the hole in the bottom no more than a 7" diameter. Definately for a thinner cat or small kitten. We love it overall.
