Keeping your dogs teeth clean and cavity free is essential to their over all health. Although brushing their teeth can be difficult, it is essential. Chewing toys and dental treats alone are not enough. Pet Dental toothpaste is a great product. It smells and taste like maple syrup so dogs like the flavor. I don't think that my dog will ever like getting his teeth brushed, but the fact that he likes the flavor of this toothpaste makes the task much easier. It is approved by veterinarians and contains everything necessary to keep your dogs teeth healthy. What I like most about this product is that it doesn't drip, so there is little to no mess produced when brushing your dogs teeth. The toothpaste spreads far, so only a minimal amount is needed to get the job done right. The tube also last awhile, so it is a good value.
