I like this toy because my 12 month old loves it. It is cute, and comes with lots of activities to keep a young mind occupied. I am glad I got it at her age, because although it says that it is for 18+ months, I think she will have outgrown it by that time. First of all, it is SHORT. I know I do not have a super-sized baby, and I can not imagine her not towering over the thing when she is 2. She is a little tall for it already, but it doesn't seem to bother her. The activites are all easy enough for a younger child to master, and the noises it makes delights her every time. We love all toys that teacha love of music, and I believe with the piano, it is doing just that. The vehicle noises are realistic, but the bead maze is a little elementary, even for a baby. Play the piano and the little mouse dances around. It's a neat idea, though the mouse mechanics are a bit loud. Overall, this toy was worth the money when my child was 10 months old, as she will have lots of time to play with it, but at 18 months, I would have passed.
