I bought the Child's First Remote Control Car by Chicco, when my son turned two, we saw it in the store and he just had to have it. This is specifically designed for smaller children and has a simpler design as far as working the remote control. My son had some difficulties using the remote control – he knew how to work it, but the car didn’t actually take the commands from the remote that well. This car requires 6 AA batteries and they do not last more than a couple of uses. So now my son does not play with this car with the remote. He instead manually pushes the car around. The car is bright and colorful and has a cute design. .

Good to know we should be wary of this one.
