Travel / Destinations / Botanic Garden, Fort Worth, Texas

The Botanic Garden in Fort Worth, Texas is one of the greatest attractions of Dallas and Fort Worth.  Situated very near the arts district and downtown Fort Worth, the Botanic Garden offers many delightful sights and experiences.  The main area of the Botanic Garden is free of charge. This includes the Rose Garden, the Fuller Garden and the Perennial Garden.

The best part of the Botanic Garden, however, is the Japanese Garden.  You enter through a Japanese gate, to a magical garden containing koi-filled ponds, statuary, beautiful tree-shaded trails and a gift shop.  There is a fee to enter the Japanese Garden.

Also wonderful is the greenhouse Conservatory.  The greenhouse features a wide range of exotic plants, orchids and bromeliads.

There are many excellent accommodations nearby, including hotels and restaurants.  Downtown Fort Worth offers many excellent tourist attractions such as Barnes and Noble, Bass Performance Hall and art galleries.
