I am staying at the Pittsburgh Shadyside Courtyard Marriott right now. Yes. They have complimentary Business Center in the lobby. I chose to write a review from here right now. We pulled up to the front of the hotel yesterday evening. The valet greeted us almost immediately and asked us if we needed a cart for our luggage. He took our keys and parked our vehicle. The downfall, you pay 20.00 for parking each day. We entered the lobby. It was very elegant, luxurious! The desk clerk checked us in right away. The restaurant and lounge are right off the lobby. Drinks are expensive. We haven't tried the food here yet, opting to try a few local restaurants nearby. The back of the lobby has full length windows which look out to a waterfall. Really pretty. The lobby area is calm and relaxing! The one plus about this hotel is.......Starbucks onsite. Starbucks coffee is my favorite! You can have Starbucks all day long if you want coffee or frapuccinos. You just use your pass card to get through the door to Starbucks from the hotel. That way, people from outside are not entering the hotel without a room. People can access Starbucks from the street through another door. Nice setup! The rooms are really nice. I have one pet peeve! The air conditioning is really noisy! It actually keeps you awake. It runs awhile (noisy) then shuts down to a rumble.....then up and running again to loud. It runs continuously like real loud........then not so loud wait stage...then loud again. Hard to describe but a true pain! Other than that....really nice hotel. We needed a hotel close to our desired destination. This was perfect. As mentioned previously, very pricey. You will want to eat and have drinks if desired elsewhere. Staff was very helpful. Pool. Laundry (coin operated). Exercise room. Everything elegant here. Hotels are pricey in Pittsburgh. It is a big city. Most hotels charge parking fees. We are happy.....except for the air conditioner!
