Walt Disney World Swan Hotel

The Walt Disney World Swan is a Westin owned hotel on the Walt Disney World Resort property in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. At first glance, the hotel can look a little odd to people, with teal swans on the roof, and an ocean motif on the outside walls, but once you enter the lobby and experience what this hotel has to offer, it soon becomes the prettiest hotel you've ever seen. The staff is very freindly and the attention to detail is unmatched.

This hotel is on the Epcot side of the Walt Disney World Resort, with water taxi service to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Yacht and Beach clubs, and Boardwalk. You can also walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios via an attached walkway, or take the bus to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Downtown Disney Area.

The rooms can be standard with 2 queen beds or 1 king, or suite style with a seperate sitting area. I am very picky about hotel clenliness, and the rooms have always passed the test. The price is in the $200-$300 range (average) but they do honor AAA, as well as discounts for Nurses, Teachers, and Government Employees. This hotel is connected to the Walt Disney World Dolphin via an outside walkway (Sheratin owned), and it, too, follows the same color scheme.

There are MANY dining options available onsite, including my favorite, Il Mulino, which is an upscale Italian Restaurant. Other hotel ammenities include Internet Access, Pool, Paddle Boats, Shops, Private Beach. This is my all-time favorite hotel- It's clean, the staff is friendly, the food is good, and it's close to the attractions.

We will definately be coming back to visit in the near future!
