Traveling has always been a passion of mine, so I have traveled to over fifty countries already in my life time including Canada, England, Paris, Egypt, South Africa, but the most fabulous place I have been to so far is the Island in the Caribbean called Jamaica.

I went there for the summer on a family vacation for two weeks. We arrived on the Island airport in the capital city of Montego Bay on a sunny afternoon and was welcomed at the airport by a bus that was sent to pick us up by the Ritz Carlton hotel where we were staying.aurant

The beautiful views of the Island, were most spectacular, we went to beaches in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, and Negril where we went to a beautiful restaurant on top of a cliff called "Ricks Cafe" where we enjoyed delicious jamaica cuisine such as jerked chicken an many more well made Island dishes.

Not only was each location more beautiful than the last, but the people were friendly and extremely helpful, no matter what we asked for it was provided. We were taken on road trip throughout the Island, to many small towns, such as a town called Nine Miles in Ocho Rios where the legendary Reggae singer Bob Marley was born.

The most beautiful part of the Island in my opinion is a place called Dunns River Falls where we were taken on a tour, it had the most beautiful water falls that I have ever seen and like most of the Island's beaches the water was as blue and as beautiful as one could ever imagine

One of the most important aspects of a vacation to me is the price and knowing that when I return home my bank account is not completely depleted from one vacation, and I did not feel that way after we came home from the Islands. We used travelocity to book the vacation which included the flight, hotel and also rides to and from the air port.
