We all know that exercise is something we need. We also know that many struggle with fulfilling that need. There are enough excuses to fill many pages! Some of which might be: "my knees are too sore", "I'm too busy", "I don't have the energy after working all day", "I don't want to be seen at the health club until I lose weight!". That last is my favorite.
Many of the health clubs seem to cater to those who are already fit. And, of course, they are full of fit and beautiful people. Truly this is intimidating to those who have, for whatever reason, let themselves go. Or for older folks who struggle even to touch their toes anymore.
This is where Curves for Women comes in. Of course, any woman can go there - young or old, slim or not, fit and limber or wanting to be. You will see a good many of these combinations when you visit your local Curves.
Everyone is welcome and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. There is always someone on staff to help you with questions about how to use the equipment to your best advantage. AND, the whole routine takes only half an hour!
What you will see upon walking through the doors is a circuit of resistance type equipment alternated by padded jogging boards. What you will hear is music with a beat to keep your feet moving and to help with motivation.
The equipment is top-notch and easy to use and each targets a particular zone of your body. It is gentle exercise and you can put more or less effort into it according to your ability or the way you feel on a given day. Consistent use over time will make positive changes that will make you stronger, fit, more beautiful, and therefore happier.
