Ah, the all to famous girl scout cookies. When that time of the year comes, I always get excited. Girl scout cookies aren't just sold whenever. It's very hard to get them from anyone other than girl scouts themselves, so you have to make sure you get enough to last until they come again next year. You are able to find some on Ebay, but it's very hard, as people tend to want to keep them (because they're so delicious). But if you do, they're pretty expensive, so it's hard to get them as cheap as they are when you buy them directly from the Girl Scouts.
The cookies are relatively cheap, priced at $3.50 per box. There are several different kinds of cookies. They include Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Samoas, Lemon Chalet Cremes, Dulce De Leche, Sugar Free Chocolate Chip, Do Si Dos, and Trefoils. The most popular ones are usually the Samoas, Thin Mints, and Tagalongs. Every time girl scouts come to our house, we get the Lemon Chalet Cremes, Thin Mints, and Somoas. The quality of these cookies are excellent. I just wish there were more per box, because they go by really quickly.
I suggest you try some. They're delicious, and the money they earn help support different causes. And that's just one thing great about Girl Scouts. So remember that when you're buying these cookies, it's not just for the cookies (and their incredible scrumptiousness). It's also for the people that they are able to help. Millions of boxes of cookies are sold per year, so multiply that my $3.50, and you get the money earned from these cookies. Cookie money is sent to troops in Iraq, starving people in Africa, people without water, and thousands of other great causes. So the next time a little girl knocks on your door, instead of politely saying no, politely say yes.
