Stress is something that we can’t live without. You should learn to reduce your stress so you can improve your physical and mental health. Too much stress can lead to heart disease, digestive disease, mental problems, and neurotic problems. You will look 5 years older too. Stress is not something that you should condone and try to keep. There are many ways to reduce stress. Here are some tips to help you reduce stress.

Keep a journal

Writing is great way to release your stress and write down the things that you can’t tell other people. Writing is a great therapy. You will feel so much better once you have wrote down all of your awry feelings. Your problems might appear smaller if you keep at it.

Exercise

Exercising is the best way to get rid of stress. Exercising will relieve your tension but will also get rid of bad stress hormones. Exercising will also release endorphins, oxytocin, the feel good hormones, and you will feel better. Exercising is like magic. You will feel so much better once you go to the gym, run, walk and do some yoga. You will be able to relieve your stress.

Relaxation

Relaxation is one of the best way to let go of your stress. You should relax daily and get rid of your stress. Relaxation will take all of your stress away. You can relax by taking a nap, do some yoga, meditation, or sleeping. Either ways, you will reduce your stress immensely.

Break time

Once in awhile, you should get a break from your work, whatever that is that you’re doing. You should get a break so your body and mind get a chance to unwind. Did you know that no matter how hard you study, you can’t process any more information if you didn’t have a break, so you’re just wasting your valuable time. Yes, your brain needs to unwind before it can take in more information, so this is a great way to study. You do have to know how to study or how to work so that you don’t cram yourself. Cramming is never a good thing by the way.

Treat yourself

You should reward yourself for everything that is done well. For example, you should dine out, have a nice bowl of ice cream, buy yourself something, go see a movie and just reward yourself.

Vacation

Once in a blue moon, you should go on a vacation. A vacation will help you relax and you will feel like going back to work right afterward. If you haven’t had a vacation in 10 years, it’s time to take a vacation. You will feel so much better afterward. You will also get sick if you work too much and you don’t have enough play.

Talking

For some reasons, talking is very therapeutic and it has been noted in many therapists’ books. The clients can get so much better by talking it all out, so writing or chatting or blogging is a great way to get it out of your system. You need to talk it all out. If you haven’t talk it all out, it’s time to write it down or get a friend or a family and talk it all out.
