Oprah's Favorite Things 2010

Oprah's final 'Favorite Things' episodes aired November 19 and 22, 2010. Her Favorite Things episodes started in 2002. During this show, Oprah shares products with the audience which she claims she likes and which would make good gifts.

Participation in the Favorite Things episode is coveted by companies for product placement, and by potential audience members since they receive each of the presented products free. This year, the audience members represented a worthy group of volunteers.

As always, there was yelling and hysteria worthy of parody. There are actually EMTs standing by, since the emotions run so high during the show.

The gifts given this year:

Breville Panini Press which Oprah claims to use at home ($99.95 - Retail).

CD: 'The Beginning' by the Black Eyed Peas, who performed on the show ($18).

Beecher's "World's Best" Macaroni 'N' Cheese ($29).

Season 25 T-Shirt from the O Store ($38)

Book: A Course in Weight Loss by Marianne Williamson ($25).

Book: Decoded by Jay-Z ($35).

Andre Walker (Oprah's stylist) shampoo and hair kit ($65).

Kyocera Ceramic Cutlery Set by Ming Knives ($75).

Lululemon Relaxed Fit Pants ($98). Oprah says anything that cuts your butt in half is a good thing.

Kivadonation Gift Card ($100).

Four pairs of Nike "Free Run+" Shoes ($340).

Ralph Lauren Cashmere sweater and throw ($499).

Judith Ripka Eclipse Earrings ($525).

Five year subscription to Netflix ($600).

Nikon DSLR D3100 camera ($699).

Lafco House and Home Collection Designer Candle Set - 18 candles ($990).

Tory Burch tote bag and flat shoes - with silver leather trim in honor of The Oprah Show's 25th season ($445).

Elfa Customizable Closet System from the Container Store (up to $1000).

A limited edition 25th anniversary Philip Stein "Oprah" diamond watch ($2, 475).

Sony BRAVIA LX900 HDTV with 3D and BDP-S570 3D Blu-ray Disc Player with three 3D movies ($3, 600).

7-day cruise on Royal Caribbean's new Allure of the Seas. This 5, 400-passenger ship (like its sister the Oasis of the Seas) is the biggest cruise ship ever built. Air transportation provided by United Airlines (Value not disclosed).

All in all, a pretty broad range of gifts! I would have been more than happy to have been in the audience!
