Snapz Crunchy Apple Chips

One of things I always crave when I'm on a diet is potato chips, because I like a lightly crunchy snack. I discovered Snapz Crunchy Apple Chips at Subway. They are the perfect replacement for fatty, salty potato chips, because they have a delicious flavor and just the right amount of crunch. I have not found them in the grocery store, but they sell for $0.99 at Subway. This is a little pricey for the number of chips you get.

Snapz Crunchy Apple Chips are literally made from apples acidulated with lemon juice, so they have a delightful mix of sweet and tart. They are not sweet enough to taste like candy, which makes them the perfect snack, in my opinion.

Unlike apple chip-type products I have tried in the past, these apple chips really are crunchy and satisfying and not chewy or gummy. They have just the right amount of crunch so that they are not hard on the teeth.

When you embrace a healthy lifestyle, you want to make sure that everything you put in your body belongs there, and the Snapz product lives up to that. With just one whole apple and a little lemon juice, there is nothing on the ingredient list you can't pronounce.

One 0.42 ounce bag contains a whole apple, which is one serving of fruit. This serving offers 2 grams of dietary fiber and 8 grams of sugar--but it is 100% natural sugar from fruit, not the horrible white processed sugar that is so bad for us. The serving also includes 2% of your daily supply of vitamin C and 4 grams of protein.

These chips are all natural, fat free, gluten free and contain no added salt, artificial colorings or flavorings, or sulphur dioxide. They are not fried or baked: just washed and sliced.

With a wonderful flavor and crunch, Snapz Crunchy Apple Chips make a tasty snack any time. With the added health benefits of a 100% natural serving of fruit, they are also guilt free. I get them every time I go to Subway now--I'm addicted!
