I had a roommate about twenty-one years ago she had a boy and a girl both in high school and I had a toddler. We had a very fun house hold and enjoyed life to its fullest even though we did not have that much money. I would make something every night with ground beef; my roommate dubbed me the Queen of ground beef the kids loved it and we saved on money. I make to different Sheppard's pies one uses ground beef and only take about forty-five minutes. Since I am sharing my ground beef recipes, I will start with the ground beef one. I always buy my ground beef in bulk and I use frozen vegetables they are so much healthier. Since the recession started and I became disabled, money has been short so I have started making my casseroles and my husband loves them.

One pound of ground beef

Mixed vegetables about 1-1/2 to 2 cups

Either Ketchup or a small can of tomato sauce

One small package of potatoes

First, turn your oven on to 325 degrees, cook your ground beef and cook your vegetables in the microwave or a pan, start boiling the water for your potatoes. Once you have cooked your ground beef, vegetables and potatoes, mix everything but the potatoes in a casserole bowl including either the ketchup or the tomatoes sauce I use what eve I have available. Top with the potatoes spreading until you have a seal at the edge of our dish, put in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes, serve with a salad and you are done. If you have, large families double the recipe. It is simple to make tastes good and in expensive.

I hope you try my reciepes, enjoy them and let me know what you think.
