In my previous gym, not only can we do weights and other exercises, the owner allows us to use his TV and DVD player for workout videos. It was fun because there were many of us who will just join in the activity in order to heat their bodies up prior to their weight training. Even the guys join in, too.
The 10-minute workout is supposed to be for people who do not have a lot of time to exercise, or those who just need a nice vigorous warm up.
But for me, it is so vigorous that it seems I could get a heart attack from it. I am exaggerating of course, but what I am saying is that it is not for the faint of heart.
Also, because the pace is so fast, I could not understand the instructions. It is like cramping so many exercises at so short a time, but it has not become effective. I have tried other 10-minute work outs and they are far better than this.
Additionally, the people in the exercise video are always facing the audience so sometimes we get confused with the left and right especially because it is so fast. It is confusing!
Anyway, I guess what works for one does not work for the other.
