This book has been around for a while I think, but I just discovered it this month. In a search for a new author (I think I've read everything by my number 1), I decided to give James Patterson a try. I tend to prefer series so that I can really get invested in the characters so I went with 1st to Die. This series already has about 7 books out so far and has had a tv series based on the books premier on ABC - Women's Murder Club. I've not seen the show so I can't tell you if it really lines up with the books, but I can tell you that the book is great. I had the opportunity to be home all alone last Sunday and I read the entire book that day. I literally couldn't stand the thought of putting it down and not findout out how it ends. I'm now ready to head back to the bookstore and buy the second on in this series.

It is the story of female friendship, and the friends join together to solve a mystery - the deaths of several newlyweds. Because they have careers to help, they are able to sucessfully solve the crimes, but it is not easy and does not all end well - there are some very interesting twists and turns that make it a real page turner.
