My mother bought her Nissan Altima new in 2005, and I have driven it quite a bit for various reasons, and have been very impressed. Hers is a pearl white color, which I love. I like white cars, but they can seem to be dull, and lack depth. The pearlescent in this paint, however, makes it really pop, especially in the sunlight. It also has the sport package, so it comes with 5 spoke 17 inch wheels, which add to the already great style of the car. The V6 engine in this model is rated around 250 horsepower, so for a sedan it has plenty of kick. There are two drawbacks, though. The throttle is drive by wire, so it can feel a little jumpy when you first accelerate, and it is a front wheel drive so it tends to torque steer when you get on the throttle. These are small issues through, and in a short amount of time I had adjusted to them. The interior is very nice, roomy, and comfortable as well. This model has cloth seats, but the center sections are perforated, so it still has a luxurious look, and the materials used on the dash, console, and panels are very nice as well. Overall, I love this car, and my mother has had no problems out of it. Even for a mom, its plenty of fun.
